The Founder
Since 1960s, Amlah Samdin, a mother of five children has been serving sambal as regular family delicacy to her family and relatives. It is also a tradition in her family, to pack the sambal whenever someone has to travel away from home. It's a symbol of  love of a mother.

Only recently the sambal hits the market after Fahmi, Amlah's first son formed a company producing the sambal commercially which now serving you and thousand others, tasting the same, original recipe right from Amlah's kitchen.

Carrying the brand Sambal King , the sambal  today is produced in a hygienic facility incorporating high food safety features to meet strict food manufacturing standard of today's.

From A to Z the preparation and selection of ingredients are carefully made. Only the highest grade of raw ingredients are used. 


The production is monitored with food safety and customers' satisfaction in mind.
Sambal King is produced using only  
  • filtered water, 
  • non-coated steel & aluminum cooking utensils,
  • premium plant/ vegetable-base cooking oil and 
  • hand-picked raw materials 
To make the Sambal King even better and safer, it has NO preservatives or food additive too. Even the chili paste is made in-house.
